Pupils at Cuba Primary School in Windhoek will continue sharing facilities with Dr Abraham Iyambo Primary School while their own school is under construction as indicated by local media reports. The school, located in the Havana informal settlement, was established in 2023 to address overcrowding at Dr Abraham Iyambo Primary School. Although the completion of the new building was initially scheduled for 2024, Khomas director of education Paulus Nghikembua now expects the project to be completed this year.
