Wheelchair Outreach Program to commence in /Khomas Region

The Deputy Minister of Disability Affairs has announced an outreach program for wheelchair users in the /Khomas Region, starting tomorrow, January 17. Asser /Uiseb from the office of the Deputy Minister of Disability Affairs adds that those needing a wheelchair or replacement are urged to register at the Disability Resource Centre in Okuryangava by today, 16 January at 3:00 PM. Registration requires the user’s name, contact details, and physical address. After registration, Occupational Therapists will conduct house visits for evaluations and measurements.
