Background

 

The Marriage Act, signed into law by President Nangolo Mbumbalast year, defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The on 2 October 2024 document excludes same-sex couples from legal recognition. Linda Baumann an activist for the rights of women, and the LGBTQI community.
