Rössing invests over N$1m towards healthcare infrastructure in Erongo

Rössing Uranium has invested N$1.25 million in the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) Erongo Regional Office.

The funds will be used to construct a boundary wall for the Swakopmund District Hospital, procure laundry equipment for the Usakos District Hospital, and renovate the psychiatric unit at the Walvis Bay District Hospital.

Rössing Uranium Managing Director Johan Coetzee said that they identified the health sector as a critical area to assist the government as part of their corporate social investment.

“We are making this donation because we believe that improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting the are fundamental to the growth and prosperity of our country,” said Coetzee.

On behalf of MoHSS, the Regional Director of Health for Erongo, Anna Jonas, expressed her gratitude for the investment, saying it would enhance the region’s healthcare.

“This investment shows that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to heal,” said Jonas.
