44 year-old Max Endjala, implicated in the recent Namib Desert Diamonds robbery, reportedly confided in a friend last year about an anticipated “big payday” that would secure his future. Reports indicate that around the same time, he allegedly received N$1 million from an international business deal and planned to start a business with a local diamond dealer. Endjala, who was Trustco Group’s Chief Operations Officer for its investigations unit, shocked colleagues with his alleged involvement.
