Chinese businessman Hou Xue Cheng, known as the “Mafia Boss,” has evaded justice in Namibia for over 20 years despite facing numerous charges, including wildlife crimes and corruption. This is according to The Issue Publication. It recently documented an article titled “China’s untouchable Hou: How ‘mafia boss’ keeps evading justice in Namibia”: Recently arrested for attempting to smuggle seal genitals to Angola, Hou is involved in multiple ongoing court cases in Namibia but consistently avoids conviction and bail. As of the broadcast, NamPol’s PR head, Kaunapawa Shikwambi, had not responded to queries from Future Media News.
