Mexico, Canada, and China have announced retaliatory tariffs against the US. This comes after president Donald Trump said a tax of 25-percent on Canadian and Mexican imports and an additional ten-percent tax on Chinese goods will come into force on Tuesday. Canada and Mexico have both announced retaliatory tariffs of 25-percent on US goods. China says it will file a lawsuit with the World Trade Organisation. Canadian prime minister candidate, Chrystia Freeland, says the country is determined to stand up for itself:
