Netball Namibia Pays Tribute to Nujoma

Netball Namibia Secretary General Sofica Simon has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Founding Father Dr. Sam Nujoma, describing him as an iconic leader whose influence extended beyond politics and into the sporting community. Simon highlighted Nujoma’s dedication to fostering teamwork and perseverance in sports, as well as his efforts to enhance sporting infrastructure and youth participation in Namibia. She described him as a pillar of wisdom and strength, whose contributions continue to shape the nation’s sporting landscape.
