Namibia Marks 35 Years of Its Constitution

Namibia celebrated 35 years since the adoption of its Constitution on February 9. Led by the late Founding President Dr. Sam Nujoma, the Constitution was unanimously adopted in 1990 under the chairmanship of the late President Dr. Hage G. Geingob. It guarantees fundamental rights and freedoms for all Namibians. National Assembly Speaker, Professor Peter Katjivivi, reflected on its significance.
