Jordan’s King Abdullah II has said his country would take in 2000 sick Palestinian children from Gaza, signaling new openness to a plan by US President Donald Trump to resettle the residents of the war-torn strip. Speaking to reporters during their meeting at the White House, President Trump asserted again that the US “will have Gaza,” citing “US authority” to claim the enclave.
