Shalli Reflects on First Meeting with Nujoma

Retired General Martin Shalli described his first encounter with the late Founding President Sam Nujoma on April 26, 1974, as a life-changing experience, comparing it to meeting Jesus. In a report, Josia Shiweda from One Africa’s NewsOnOne says Shalli recalled being just 19 years old when he met Nujoma in Lusaka, Zambia. He later rose to become the Chief of the Namibian Defence Force, attributing much of his inspiration to that pivotal moment.
