US rejects making Ukraine concessions

European powers have insisted that both they and Ukraine are part of any future peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. This comes after Donald Trump held a phone call with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. Speaking at a NATO meeting in Brussels the U.S. Secretary of Defense insisted that the U.S. wants a diplomatic and peaceful end to the war.
