Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba says he has lost a dear friend and a great leader following the passing of Founding President, Sam Nujoma. Speaking at Nujoma’s first memorial service at Etunda village in the Okahao constituency, Pohamba recalled meeting Nujoma 63 years ago in Angola. He also shared that his last visit to Nujoma was two weeks ago while he was hospitalized in Windhoek, saying it made him realize how unpredictable life can be. Pohamba noted that while Nujoma is no longer with us, his contributions to the nation must be remembered.
