Former PLAN Combatants Honor Sam Nujoma at Memorial Service

Former PLAN combatants paid their final respects to late Founding President Sam Nujoma during a memorial service at Eenhana Sports Stadium, reporter Nduuvundi David writes. The group sang a song recalling their time on the battlefield while awaiting former Minister of Defense, Charles Namholo, to deliver his message. Namholo described Nujoma as a true hero of the liberation struggle and a friend to all citizens. He also noted that former President Hifikepunye Pohamba had lost a close companion with whom he shared deep understanding and solace.
