EU-India hold trade talks with an eye on the US

Days after India restarted trade negotiations with the UK, it’s now sitting down with the European Union to hammer out a long delayed trade deal. The EU is expected to echo US President Donald Trump, urging India to lower tariffs on some products. Even as New Delhi looks to diversify its own exports, amid concerns that America’s reciprocal taxes will hurt Indian businesses. Neha Poonia has more.
