A driver and a passenger allegedly fled an accident scene around 05h00 on Saturday morning along Winnie Madikizela Road. A witness, Thomas Kasita, narrated that the he was driving behind a Nissan NP300 double cab heading south when a Chevrolet Sedan, drove in the oncoming lane, directly facing the Nissan NP300, which caused the accident. A passenger in the Nissan NP300 sustained light injuries.
Kasita stated that the driver and passenger who fled the scene were in the Chevrolet.
