Angolan man arrested for raping woman (30)

A 21-year-old Angolan man was arrested in Olumbongo, Oniipa, after allegedly raping a 30-year-old Namibian woman in the early hours of Saturday.
According to police reports, the suspect and victim were together at a drinking place before the incident occurred. The suspect allegedly grabbed the woman, pushed her into the water, and raped her in a coercive manner. The victim screamed for help and was rescued by bystanders.
The suspect is set to appear before the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
