The agriculture ministry has announced that the subsidy claims submission for the livestock support programme for drought has been extended to the 30th of next month.

Public Relations Officer Simon Nghipandulwa says the initial deadline was the 31st March 2025 but it was extended to give farmers the necessary time to get their documents in order.

Nghipandulwa said the grace period was decided on by the Directorate of Agriculture, Production, Extension and Engineering Services (DAPEES).
