Newly sworn-in President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on her Cabinet to remain accessible and work closely with various stakeholders, including the private sector, communities, the public, and the media, which she described as the “fourth arm of state.”

Speaking at her first Cabinet meeting at State House, President Nandi-Ndaitwah stressed the importance of government transparency and responsiveness. She urged ministers to actively engage with stakeholders to effectively implement policies and address national concerns.

The president highlighted the media’s critical role in informing the public and communicating government policies, encouraging objective reporting that contributes to national development.
