The Japanese government in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and ministry of agriculture donated agricultural inputs to support 1,760 farming households in the Kavango East region last week.
Agro-inputs are substances or services that are used in the production of agricultural and allied products.
Speaking in Rundu, Japanese Ambassador Shinichi Asazuma said the project is titled “Emergency response to enhance resilience and mitigate climate-induced impacts on livelihoods, food and nutrition security of the most vulnerable households in Namibia”.
