Namibia makes N$25.48 million from e-visas and visas on arrival

Background

The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that total revenue generated from e-visas and visas on arrival has reached N$25.48 million.

The ministry’s executive director, Etienne Maritz, said of the amount, N$24.36 million was generated from 15,506 travellers who applied for and were issued e-visas online.

Additionally, 820 travellers applied in person, contributing N$1.12 million to the total revenue.
