Councillor Ndjaleka addresses ‘tribal political war, between SWAPO and LPM’ in Kharas Region

In a media briefing held today at the Kalahari holding Hall Luderitz, in !Nami#nus Constituency Regional Councillor Suzan Ndjaleka addressed ongoing political tensions within the Kharas Regional Council.
The briefing focused on allegations against Chairperson Josef Isaacks of LPM, who has been accused of misusing his authority and creating a challenging environment for fellow council members.
Ndjaleka, who has been vocal about these issues, emphasized the importance of speaking out against injustices.
She described the current situation as a “tribal political war,” asserting that Isaacks has obstructed the work of SWAPO councillors, negatively impacting service delivery to residents.

Despite the challenges, Ndjaleka reassured the community about ongoing projects, including renovations to the State Clinic and water supply connections for the Lüderitz Shack Dwellers Federation, while acknowledging a water crisis in Aus that complicates these efforts.
