Nored warns public to stay away from electrical infrastructure

The Northern Electricity Distributor (NORED) has cautioned members of the public to stay away from electrical infrastructure at all times. NBL's profit rose by 101.4%, from N$3.39 billion to N$6.83 billion, for the 18 months ending 31 December 2024. Angolan teenager herder electrocuted in Omusati

Oshikoto police say a 16-year-old Angolan youth was electrocuted on Wednesday, March 2, 2025, when he climbed an electric pole. The teenager was heading cattle in Omuthiya in Oshikoto when he was electrocuted. Another herder discovered the body when he investigated the source of the noise from the electric wires.
