Competing against top youth squads across Southern Africa, both national teams ranked strongly and impressed organisers and fans alike.
Veteran coach Aloisius Ishitile, who leads both indoor and beach volleyball development, praised the young athletes for their energy and focus. While detailed rankings have not been disclosed, insiders confirm that Namibia’s teams were consistently competitive, earning respect and experience on home soil.
“These under‑19 players showed grit, strategy, and heart—they’re the future of Namibian volleyball,” he said during post-match interviews .
