Rehoboth Road Named After Late President Geingob

Background

A new road named Dr Hage G. Geingob Drive was unveiled in Rehoboth on what would have been the late president’s 84th birthday. Yesterday, Former First Lady Monica Geingos, former President Nangolo Mbumba, and national leaders gathered to honour his legacy, with heartfelt tributes describing him as a man who “tried his best and died trying.” The Hage G. Geingob Presidential Centre also donated food parcels to the elderly and will donate furniture to a Windhoek school.
