NGOs accuse Israel of blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza

More than 100 international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have issued a joint statement accusing Israel of obstructing humanitarian aid to Gaza through what they describe as a restrictive registration process for aid agencies. The groups argue that these measures are severely limiting the delivery of food, medicine, and other essential supplies to civilians in need.

According to the statement, the registration requirements have created long delays and, in some cases, prevented relief organizations from operating altogether. Humanitarian agencies warn that the restrictions are exacerbating an already dire situation in Gaza, where shortages of basic necessities are impacting thousands of families.

Aid groups are calling on Israel to urgently ease the process and allow for the unimpeded flow of humanitarian assistance in line with international humanitarian law. They also appealed to the United Nations and world governments to intervene and ensure aid reaches those most affected by the ongoing crisis.
