Anti-Corruption Commission lead investigator Oberty Inambao has alleged that former Namcor managing director Immanuel Mulunga hid the full details of a N$53 million fuel asset transaction with Enercon from the company’s board, even though he was fully aware of the deal, according to NewsOnOne’s Envaalde Matheus. The transaction is linked to a larger N$480 million corruption scandal involving several entities.

Malaria and TB cases increase in Ohangwena region

Ohangwena Regional Governor Kadiva Hamutumwa revealed in her State of the Region Address on Monday that the region recorded a sharp rise in malaria and tuberculosis cases during the 2024/25 financial year. Authorities investigated 8,552 presumptive TB cases, confirming 742, of which 700 were new infections or relapses.
