Parliament’s Natural Resources Committee wants scientific evidence before deciding on the Uranium One project at Leonardville. Chairperson Tobie Aupindi said farming and mining should work together to support livelihoods. The committee also questioned why the project’s water permit was revoked four years ago and never reissued. Uranium One spokesperson Riaan van Rooyen now responds.
