Man stabbed over N$10 gambling win at Maltahöhe

A 24-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed multiple times with broken bottles during an argument over a N$10 gambling win on Saturday.

The incident happened at a bar at Maltahöhe during the early hours of Saturday morning at Naughty’s Entertainment Bar.

According to the police, the victim and one of the suspects argued over a N$10 win on a gambling machine. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim with a broken bottle before his brother joined in and also stabbed the victim.

The victim sustained injuries to the left side of his head and ear and was admitted to Mariental State Hospital for treatment.
Both suspects are still at large, and police investigations continue.
