The 2025 Nedbank Desert Ice Challenge T20 League ended on a high note with a star-studded awards gala at the Nedbank Campus Sky Garden on 1 October.

Cricket Generation (Cric Gen) from Walvis Bay were crowned champions after beating the Gobabis Bulls by 33 runs in the July final. Okahandja Cricket Club and United won the Shield and Bowl titles respectively.
Top individual honours went to Willem Groenewald (Player of the Tournament), William Lottering (Best Bowler), and Henre Opperman, who scooped both Best Batter and Best Fielder. Ethan du Toit (15) retained the Impact Player of the Tournament title.

The league featured 46 matches, 12 teams, and over 11 000 runs scored. Organisers, Impact Cricket, highlighted the tournament’s rapid growth, and announced new innovations for 2026, including fan prizes, revised rules, and regional expansion.

Nedbank Namibia reaffirmed its commitment to the league, praising its strong focus on development and youth engagement.
