Laptops and other valuables worth N$23 000 stolen from car at Otjiwarongo hotel

Police in Otjiwarongo are investigating a case of theft out of a motor vehicle after valuables worth over N$23 000 were stolen from a car parked at C’est Si Bon Hotel on Friday afternoon.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 12h00 when the complainant’s vehicle was parked at the hotel’s parking lot. CCTV footage reportedly captured a white sedan parking next to the victim’s vehicle, and a male suspect was seen removing items from the car before driving away.

Among the stolen items are two laptops an HP (silver in colour) and a Lenovo (black in colour)  two laptop bags, a backpack, two laptop chargers, a handbag, and an envelope containing the vehicle’s logbook. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at N$23 100
