Namibia and Botswana have signed eight new agreements aimed at deepening cooperation between the two neighboring countries during the second session of the Bi-National Commission.
Dr. Omu Kakujaha-Matundu, a lecturer at the University of Namibia, noted that the agreements signal a renewed commitment to strategic partnership and could pave the way for further investment and knowledge exchange between the countries.
The deals, witnessed by Presidents Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and President Duma Boko of Botswana, cover sectors including energy, labour, health, culture, policing, and science and technology. The agreements are expected to promote regional development, enhance cross-border collaboration, and support sustainable growth.
