MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing Academy to host WBO Africa title

The MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy will host the WBO Africa Title Redemption event on 8 November at the Windhoek Country Club, showcasing some of the leading boxing talent in a night of international competition.

The headline bouts will feature Harry Simon Jr, Mateus “The Beast” Heita, and Paulinus “John John” Ndjolonimus, who will face opponents from Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and South Africa.

Simon Jr, who recently joined the MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias stable from AC Boxing Academy, said the move marks a new chapter in his professional career.

“I made the switch because I wanted to challenge myself and grow under a bigger platform,” Simon explained.

The academy, led by veteran promoter Nestor “Sunshine” Tobias, has long been credited with elevating teh Namibia’s presence in African boxing and producing world-class fighters.

Boxing fans are expected to fill the Windhoek Country Club for what organizers describe as one of the most anticipated fights on the country’s boxing calendar this year.
