Namibia Post Limited says it has successfully disbursed over 191,000 social grants, representing 64% of all eligible beneficiaries since the start of the National Social Cash Grant payment programme on 13 October. NamPost says teams across the country have been working extended hours to ensure payments continue smoothly, despite early challenges with the new payment model. The agency has apologised for any inconvenience caused and says all mobile pay teams are now fully operational, with payments proceeding efficiently nationwide.
