President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Monday met with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy's staff team. This follows her executive decision to remove Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Natangwe Ithete, from his post.  State House press secretary Jonas Mbambo says new appointments will be communicated in due course, but for now, the president is in charge. Vice President Lucia Witbooi launched the Revised National Policy on Disability

  has launched the Revised National Policy on Disability and its Costed Implementation Plan, under the theme “Building an Inclusive Namibia: From Policy to Action.” Speaking in Windhoek, Witbooi said the updated policy aims to tackle challenges faced by persons with disabilities, including limited access to education, employment, and healthcare. The revised policy replaces the original 1997 framework and reaffirms Namibia’s commitment to equality, dignity, and non-discrimination for all citizens.
