Magistrates Down Tools Nationwide Over Pay Dispute

Court proceedings across Namibia came to a standstill yesterday as magistrates launched a nationwide work stoppage, demanding salary adjustments and improved benefits. The strike action left dozens of court attendees stranded, with no hearings taking place countrywide.
