Two Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank were attacked by young Israeli settlers in the latest episode of violence in the region, according to local reports.

Witnesses said groups of settlers entered the communities overnight, damaging property and confronting residents before Israeli security forces intervened. No casualties have been confirmed so far, but several homes and vehicles were reportedly vandalised.

The attacks come amid rising tensions in the West Bank, where clashes between settlers and Palestinians have increased in recent months. Human rights groups have accused Israeli authorities of failing to prevent settler violence and, in some cases, of not holding perpetrators accountable.

Israeli officials have not yet commented on the most recent incidents. The attacks follow a pattern of unrest that has heightened fears of further escalation across the region.
