Seven inmates escape from Ngoma police station

Six Zambian and one Namibian trial-awaiting inmates escaped from Ngoma police station in the early hours of Monday. According to the Zambezi Region Head of Community Policing Sub-Division, Chief Inspector Kisco Sitali, the incident happened around 04h50 when the inmates allegedly cut through the roof using an unknown object.

The suspects were arrested on various charges, including murder, rape, possession of drugs, and housebreaking.

Sitali urged members of the public in and around Ngoma to remain vigilant and be on a look out for the suspects.

The inmates are :

1.Mainga Kunyanda, Zambian national ,male age 25 year- Impalila CR

2.Joseph Munalula Zambian national, Male , Ngoma CR Rape

3.Makai Samutela Zambian national ,male age 38 years ,Ngoma CR Possession of Drugs

4.Simasiku Sikwezi Zambian national, male age 27 years

5.Mushe Simasiku Namibian national, male age 28 Yrs Murder

6.Moonga Kahiyata Zambian national, male KM CR

7.Kwalela Namushi Zambian national, male age 27 Years Housebreaking.
