Consignments of small traders, popularly known as “Order-With-Me” agents, that pass-through Hosea Kutako International Airport, reached N$71 million in import value from January 2025 to date, according to figures released by the Namibia Revenue Agency.

NamRA Commissioner, Sam Shivute, said the imports, largely linked to the growing “Order-With-Me” trading model, were dominated by electronic goods valued at about N$63 million, while clothing imports stood at approximately N$6 million.

Shivute disclosed the figures during an engagement meeting between NamRA and “Order-With-Me” agents in Windhoek on Monday, held to address customs compliance and declaration challenges among small-scale traders.

Shivute explained that customs duties collected from imports support essential public services, including health, education and security, stressing that accurate declarations remain critical.

Shivute added that NamRA’s 2026–2027 strategic plan places strong emphasis on trade facilitation, education and enforcement, aimed at supporting traders while safeguarding government revenue.
