Namibia Reaffirms Renewable Energy Commitment at IRENA Assembly

The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Modestus Amtse, attended the 16th IRENA Assembly in Abu Dhabi, where Namibia concluded its term as Vice President of the 15th session, representing the Africa Group. During the meeting, Amutse delivered a statement reaffirming Namibia’s commitment to renewable energy, industrialisation, sustainable job creation, and expanded energy access.
