 New Cancer Centres Aim to Expand Care Access

Distance and financial barriers continue to limit access to cancer treatment, particularly in rural areas, the Cancer Association says. CEO Rolf Hansen calls for people-centred services, and the opening of a new oncology centre in Walvis Bay and a palliative care facility in Swakopmund aims to bring care closer to communities.
