The Ondangwa Town Council has announced that the Ondangwa Trade & Industrial Exhibition (OTIE) 2026, is scheduled to take place from 24 April to 02 May 2026.
This was confirmed by the town’s Public Relations Officer Petrina Shitalangaho-Mutikisha on Tuesday.
Shitalangaho-Mutikisha stated that this year, the exhibition runs under a powerful theme “Connecting Local Trade to the World”.
“For over a decade, OTIE has been the beating heart of local economic development. It’s more than just an event, it is council’s steadfast commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, driving enterprise development, and delivering essential services and goods directly to the community,” Shitalangaho-Mutikisha said.
She added the unique platform gives Namibian businesses and institutions an unparalleled stage to showcase their innovations, forge lasting collaborations, and explore crucial new market opportunities.
As part of preparations to mobilise support for the hosting of the 13th edition of the Ondangwa Trade & Industrial Exhibition, a fundraising gala dinner will be held on 14th March 2026, and Vice President Lucia Witbooi is expected to grace the event.
