Police deploy drone and helicopter in search for Beatus Iiyambo 

By: Ludorf Iiyambo Namibian Police intensified their search for missing Beatus Iiyambo (25) last Friday, deploying a helicopter and drone.   The search also included foot patrols and sniffer dogs in areas where Iiyambo was last seen, including Windhoek’s Khomasdal, Otjomuise and Goreangab.   Despite these efforts, Khomas Region’s Head of the Crime Investigation Division, Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila, said there has been no trace of Iiyambo since they launched a high-level investigation two weeks ago.   Iiyambo went missing two months ago after travelling from the Omusati Region to Windhoek for work.   Ndjadila explained that a helicopter conducted an aerial search in three areas. He said the operation was […]
