School secretary granted bail in examination paper theft case

A 31-year-old man, Salom Hango, a secretary at Leinge Private School, was granted bail of N$1 000 after making a brief appearance in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for the alleged theft of examination papers. Meanwhile, his co-accused, 17-year-old Elizabeth Kornelius, who is a Grade 9 learner at Oneheke Combined School, was released under parental care. The duo faces charges of theft of examination question papers for national and regional levels, and the contravention of section 43(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act 08/2003.
