The ANC has vowed it will not be liquidated amid a legal dispute with Ezulweni Investments, dismissing what the party calls, a fraudulent 102-million-rand claim. Legal proceedings initiated by the events company uncovered corruption, prompting a forensic investigation. Despite the dismissal of the ANC’s application by the Supreme Court of Appeal, the party intends to appeal to the Constitutional Court, presenting evidence of bribery and document forgery. Briefing the media, secretary-general Fikile Mbalula denies Ezulweni’s involvement in the 2019 election campaign, attributing the issue to unauthorised staff dealings.
