SA’s DA has expressed deep concern over the sudden resignation of State Information Technology Agency CEO, Bongani Mabaso, citing significant instability. Controversies include the dismissal of six board members, allegedly over a disagreement over Mabaso’s remuneration raise, leading to an October strike affecting various government departments. The DA’s Tsholofelo Bodlani calls on the minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Mondli Gungubele, to address remuneration increase allegations, board dismissals and Mabaso’s resignation.
