Competition Commission investigates merger violations

The Namibian Competition Commission says there are a few cases that they are currently investigating. In addition, 10 cases of contravention of merger regulations are under investigation and the mergers division is monitoring a further 37 cases. Meanwhile, in respect to anti-competitive conduct, the Commission during 2023, handled 19 investigations, of which six have been completed.
