Lack of mobility hinder police work

The Oshana Region’s Namibian Police Force is persistently grappling with mobility challenges hindering their prompt response to reports. Consequently, Regional Commander Commissioner Naftal Lungameni Sakaria has taken a proactive step by making his designated vehicle available for use by police officers during times when other vehicles are unavailable. Sakaria disclosed this information, emphasizing the importance of officers being transparent with the public. He urged them to honestly communicate the unavailability of vehicles and the prevailing situation on the ground rather than allowing misunderstandings that suggest a lack of diligence in their duties.
