The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia continues to face a critical shortage of blood, with their reserves further dwindling. NAMBTS urgently appeals to all eligible donors to come forward and donate blood, especially with the approaching long weekend. The service requires more than 170 blood donations daily to adequately meet the demand for blood in hospitals.
