Oshakati Town Council officially opened two taxi ranks

On Thursday, the Oshakati Town Council officially opened two taxi ranks designed for the Oshakati-Ondangwa and Oshakati-Endola routes. These taxi ranks, built at a total cost of N$1.5 million, had N$520,000 allocated for the Oshakati-Endola taxi rank and over N.dollars 1 million allocated for the Oshakati-Ondangwa taxi rank. The construction phase was completed within a concise three-month period. Mayor Leonard Hango of Oshakati highlighted that the council had earmarked funds from its 2022/23 financial budget specifically for the construction of these taxi ranks. The primary aim is to bolster the safety of both passengers and drivers utilizing these transport services.
